Dunstan Village Group Practice is an NHS GP surgery in Picton established in 1994 which caters to private and NHS patients.

Clinicians

Our permanent clinical team consists of 3 GPs (one female and two male), 2 clinical pharmacists, 2 advanced nurse practitioners and 1 practice nurse.

Our clinical pharmacists and practice nurses are here to deal with a whole range of appointments including annual reviews of long-term health conditions, diagnostic procedures, and contraceptive care.

General Medical Services (GMS) contract

The practice team deliver a full range of clinical services under our General Medical Services (GMS) contract with NHS England.

As well as a full range of clinical services provided under our General Medical Services (GMS) contract with NHS England we also provide the following;

  • Travel vaccinations (including certification for Hajj and Umrah).
  • Minor Surgery (including cryotherapy, joint injections and minor skin surgery).
  • Taxi and HGV medical assessments.
  • Private consultations and private prescriptions.
  • Letters of support and GP medical reports (including insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms and fitness to travel certificates).

As some of the above services are not funded by the NHS, a charge may be applicable, please speak to a member of our team to discuss this.

Training practice status

We are a training practice for Physician Associate trainees working at the practice on placement. Sometimes you may be asked to see the doctor or nurse with a student present. You will always be asked beforehand if this is acceptable and you may ask for the student to leave if you prefer to have your consultation in private.
